Hasil belajar biologi siswa dipengaruh oleh berbagai faktor yang berasal dari dalam maupun dari luar siswa. Salah satu faktor dari luar yang mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa adalah tingkat partisipasi orang tua dalam pendidikan anak. Tujuan Penelitan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat partisipasi orang tua dalam pendidikan anak dengan hasil belajar Biologi siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri 3 Majene. Metode Penelitian: Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional, serta desain survei korelasional. Data dikumpulkan melalui angket dari seluruh siswa kelas XI MIPA dengan teknik sampel jenuh, yang terdiri dari 57 siswa. Hasil Penelitian. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa partisipasi orang tua memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Uji korelasi Pearson Product Moment menghasilkan nilai korelasi sebesar 0,879 dengan signifikansi 0,000, yang menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang sangat kuat. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa semakin tinggi keterlibatan
orang tua dalam mendampingi, memantau, dan mendukung proses belajar anak, maka semakin baik pula hasil belajar yang dicapai. Oleh karena itu, partisipasi orang tua merupakan faktor penting yang berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan prestasi belajar, khususnya pada mata pelajaran Biologi.
Students' biology learning outcomes are influenced by various factors originating from within and outside the students. One of the external factors that influences students' learning outcomes is the level of parental participation in children's education. Research Objectives: This study aims to determine the relationship between the level of parental participation in children's education and the Biology learning outcomes of grade XI students at SMA Negeri 3 Majene. Research Methods: The approach used is a quantitative
approach with a correlational research type, as well as a correlational survey design. Data were collected through questionnaires from all grade XI MIPA students with a saturated sample technique, consisting of 57 students. Research Results: The results of the analysis show that parental participation has a significant influence on student learning outcomes. The Pearson Product Moment correlation test produces a correlation value of 0.879 with a significance of 0.000, which indicates a very strong relationship. This finding indicates that the higher the involvement of parents in assisting, monitoring, and supporting the child's learning process, the better the learning outcomes achieved. Therefore, parental participation is an important factor that contributes to improving learning achievement, especially in Biology subjects.
