Abstract

Indonesia merupakan negara agraris di mana bawang merah memegang peranan penting sebagai salah satu bahan pangan pokok. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem monitoring berbasis Internet of Things (IoT) guna memantau kondisi penyimpanan bibit bawang merah secara real-time. Sistem ini menggabungkan sensor suhu dan karbon dioksida untuk mendeteksi kondisi lingkungan, serta algoritma Fuzzy Logic Tsukamoto sebagai pengendali pengambilan keputusan terhadap perangkat otomatis. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Research and Development (R&D), dengan pendekatan prototyping untuk pengembangan dan pengujian sistem. Perangkat keras yang digunakan meliputi Raspberry Pi 4, sensor DHT22, sensor CO₂, serta dua relay yang mengontrol kipas dan lampu. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa sistem mampu mengendalikan perangkat secara otomatis berdasarkan parameter suhu, kelembaban, dan kadar CO₂ yang terdeteksi, dengan logika fuzzy yang menentukan status kondisi lingkungan sebagai “Baik” atau “Buruk”. Sistem ini diharapkan dapat membantu petani dalam menjaga kualitas bibit bawang merah selama penyimpanan dan mengurangi risiko kerusakan akibat kondisi lingkungan yang tidak sesuai.
Indonesia is an agricultural country where shallots play an important role as one of the staple foods. This study aims to develop an Internet of Things (IoT)-based monitoring system to monitor the storage conditions of shallot seeds in real-time. This system combines temperature and carbon dioxide sensors to detect environmental conditions, as well as the Tsukamoto Fuzzy Logic algorithm as a
decision-making controller for automatic devices. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D), with a prototyping
approach for system development and testing. The hardware used includes Raspberry Pi 4, DHT22 sensor, CO₂ sensor, and two relays that control fans and lights. The test results show that the system is able to control the device automatically based on the detected temperature, humidity, and CO₂ levels, with fuzzy logic that determines the status of environmental conditions as "Good" or
"Bad". This system is expected to help farmers maintain the quality of shallot seeds during storage and reduce the risk of damage due to unsuitable environmental conditions.
