Penelitian ini membahas Analisis Model Matematika Dinamika Cinta Zainuddin dan Hayati dalam Film Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck dengan tujuan memodelkan hubungan emosional antara kedua tokoh utama menggunakan pendekatan sistem persamaan diferensial. Model ini mempertimbangkan beberapa variabel utama, yaitu besarnya cinta Zainuddin terhadap Hayati , besarnya cinta Hayati terhadap Zainuddin, dan pengaruh orang ketiga, yaitu Aziz . Selain itu, faktor-faktor lain seperti perjuangan Zainuddin, ketertarikan awal , respon cinta , serta pengurangan dan pertambahan cinta seiring waktu juga dimasukkan dalam model untuk menggambarkan dinamika hubungan secara matematis. Proses analisis dilakukan melalui simulasi menggunakan aplikasi Python 3.13.1, di mana nilai parameter diambil berdasarkan asumsi yang sesuai dengan alur cerita dalam film. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa cinta Hayati terhadap Zainuddin berbanding lurus dengan besarnya perjuangan yang dilakukan
Zainuddin. Semakin besar perjuangan Zainuddin, semakin besar pula cinta Hayati terhadapnya, dan sebaliknya. Selain itu, kehadiran orang ketiga dan laju pengurangan cinta secara alami mempengaruhi penurunan intensitas cinta di antara kedua tokoh seiring waktu.

This study discusses the Mathematical Model Analysis of Zainuddin and Hayati's Love Dynamics in the Film Tenggelamnya Kapal Van Der Wijck with the aim of modeling the emotional relationship between the two main characters using a differential equation system approach. This model considers several main variables, namely the amount of Zainuddin's love for Hayati , the amount of Hayati's love for Zainuddin , and the influence of a
third person, namely Aziz . In addition, other factors such as Zainuddin's struggleinitial attraction , love response , and the reduction and increase of love over time are also included in the model to mathematically describe the dynamics of the relationship. The analysis process is carried out through simulations using the Python 3.13.1 application, where parameter values are taken based on assumptions that are in accordance with the storyline in the movie. The simulation results show that Hayati's love for Zainuddin is directly proportional to the magnitude of Zainuddin's struggle. The greater Zainuddin's struggle, the greater Hayati's love for him, and vice versa. In addition, the presence of a third person and the natural rate of love reduction affect the decrease in love intensity between the two characters over time.
