Abstract
Hipertensi merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan global yang menjadi faktor risiko utama penyakit kardiovaskular, stroke, dan gagal ginjal. PrevalensiHipertensi Menurut World Health Organization (WHO), Tahun 2023 lebih dari 33 populasi orang dewasa diseluruh dunia mengalami hipertensi. Salah satu terapi non farmakologi untuk menurunkan tekanan darah adalah Jus buah semangka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian jus semangka terhadap penurunan tekanan darah pada Pra lansia penderita hipertensi.
Metode Desain studi kasus dengan pendekatan deskriptif Pemberian jus semangka sebanayak 200 ml pada Pagi selama 7 hari berturut turut pre test - pos test setelah diberikan jus semangka empat responden. Hasil Penelitian terdapat penurunan tekanan darah sistol dan diastol sebelum dan sesudah pemberian jus semangka pada ke 4 responden. Kesimpulan sebelum diberikan intervensi jus semangka rata rata tekanan darah sistol 200 mmhg dan diastol 104 mmhg, setelah diberikan intervensi jus semangka terjadi penurunan tekana darah pada seluruh responden dengan rata rata tekan darah sistol 132 mmhg dan diastol 85 mmhg.
Hypertension is one of the global health problems that is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease, stroke, and kidney failure. Prevalence of Hypertension According to the World Health Organization (WHO), in 2023 more than 33% of the adult population worldwide will experience hypertension. One of the nonpharmacological therapies to lower blood pressure is watermelon juice. This study aims to determine the effect of giving watermelon juice on lowering blood pressure in pre-elderly people with hypertension. Method Case study design with a descriptive approach Giving 200 ml of watermelon juice in the morning for 7 consecutive days in a row pre-test - post-test after being given watermelon juice with four respondents. The results of the study showed a decrease in systolic and diastolic blood pressure before and after giving watermelon juice to 4 respondents. Conclusion before being given watermelon juice intervention the
average systolic blood pressure was 200 mmhg and diastolic 104 mmhg, after being given watermelon juice intervention there was a decrease in blood pressure in all respondents with an average systolic blood pressure of 132 mmhg and diastolic 85 mmhg.
