Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of interpersonal communication and work environment on job satisfaction of Campalagian Health Center employees. A descriptive quantitative approach was used involving 32 respondents of Campalagian Health Center employees selected using saturated sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, observations, and documentation, while data analysis used multiple linear regression analysis supported by validity tests, reliability tests, and classical assumption tests. The results of the study showed that: (1) Interpersonal communication has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction of Campalagian Health Center employees with a regression coefficient value of 0.425 and a significance of0.001; (2) The work environment does not have a significant effect on employee job satisfaction with a regression coefficient value of 0.007 and a significance of 0.959; (3) Interpersonal communication and work environment simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on employee job satisfaction with a calculated F value of 14.068 > F table 3.12 and a determination coefficient (R²) of 0.492. This study indicates that strategies for improving employee job satisfaction at Campalagian Health Center should be focused on developing effective interpersonal communication, accompanied by improving the physical aspects of the work environment to create a more conducive work atmosphere.
