Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh positif model Project Based Learning terhadap motivasi belajar dan literasi matematika siswa kelas XI MPLB SMKN Balanipa. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan bentuk pre-experimental Design, menggunakan desain one-group pretest-posttest design. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh, yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XI MPLB yang berjumlah 14 orang. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen penelitian berupa lembar observasi keterlaksanaan pembelajaran oleh guru, lembar observasi aktifitas siswa, tes literasi matematika dan angket motivasi belajar siswa. Analissis data menggunakan teknik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan penggunaan model project based learning meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa dalam kategori tinggi dan literasi matematika siswa ke dalam kategori baik sekali. Hasil analisis N-Gain menunjukkan peningkatan motivasi belajar dan literasi matematika siswa berada pada kategori sedang. Hasil analisis inferensial menunjukkan bahwa uji wilcoxon pada motivasi belajar memperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,001 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh positif model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Sedangkan uji paired samples t-test pada literasi matematika menunjukkan nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh positif model pembelajaran project based learning terhadap literasi matematika siswa. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Project Based Learning berpengaruh positif dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar dan literasi matematika siswa kelas XI MPLB di SMKN Balanipa.
The purpose of this study is to determine the positive influence of the Project Based Learning model on the learning motivation and mathematical literacy of grade XI MPLB students of SMKN Balanipa. This type of research is an
experiment with a pre-experimental design, using a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample was selected using a saturated sampling technique, namely all 14 students of class XI MPLB. The research data was collected using research instruments in the form of observation sheets on the implementation of learning by teachers, observation sheets on student activities, mathematical
literacy tests and student learning motivation questionnaires. Data analysis uses descriptive and inferential techniques. The results of the descriptive analysis showed that the use of the project-based learning model increased students' learning motivation in the high category and students' mathematical literacy into the very good category. The results of the N-Gain analysis showed that the increase in students' learning motivation and mathematical literacy was in the medium to high category. The results of the inferential analysis showed that the wilcoxon test on learning motivation obtained a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, which means that there is a positive influence of the project-based learning model on student learning motivation. Meanwhile, the paired samples t-test on mathematics literacy showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that there is a positive influence of the project-based learning model on students' mathematical literacy. Thus, the Project Based Learning learning model has a positive effect on increasing the learning motivation and mathematical literacy of grade XI MPLB students at SMKN Balanipa.
