Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe Jigsaw berbantuan Booklet terhadap minat dan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas VIII SMPN 4 Majene. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group Design, Teknik pengambilan sampel yaitu teknik purposive. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMPN 4 Majene tahun ajaran 2024/2025 dengan kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol. Data penelitian dikumpulkan menggunakan
angket minat belajar matematika, tes hasil belajar matematika dan lembar observasi. Analisis data penelitian terdiri dari analisis deskriptif dan analisis inferensial. Hasil analisis deskriptif menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata minat belajar siswa berada pada kategori baik sedangkan rata-rata hasil belajar siswa berada pada kategori tinggi. Hasil analisis inferensil dengan menggunakan uji t (Independent
Sampel Test) dan uji Manova, pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantuan booklet berpengaruh terhadap minat belajar matematika siswa, pada materi lingkaran kelas VIII B SMPN 4 Majene, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantuan booklet berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar matematika siswa materi lingkaran pada kelas VIII B SMPN 4 Majene dan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw berbantuan booklet berpengaruh terhadap minat dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi lingkaran
kelas VIII B SMPN 4 Majene.
The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model assisted by a booklet on students’ interest and mathematics learning outcomes in Grade VIII at SMPN 4 Majene. This research is a quantitative study using a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sampling technique employed was purposive sampling. The study was conducted at SMPN 4ajene in the 2024/2025 academic year, with Class VIII B as the experimental group and Class VIII C as the control group. Data were collected through a
mathematics learning interest questionnaire, a mathematics achievement test, and observation sheets. Data analysis consisted of descriptive and inferential analysis. The descriptive analysis results showed that the average student interest in learning was in the “good” category, while the average learning outcome was in the “high” category. The results of the inferential analysis using the Independent Sample t-test and MANOVA showed that the Jigsaw-type cooperative learning model assisted by a booklet had a significant effect on students’ interest in learning mathematics on the topic of circles in Class VIII B of SMPN 4 Majene; it also had a significant
effect on students’ mathematics learning outcomes on the same topic, and it had a significant overall effect on both learning interest and outcomes for students in Class VIII B.
