Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan pengelolaan kelas dengan aktivitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran biologi kelas X di SMA Negeri 1 Tinambung. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan pendekatan korelasi. Penelitian ini terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu pengelolaan kelas sebagai variabel bebas (X) dan aktivitas belajar siswa sebagai variabel terikat (Y). Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas X yang terdiri dari empat kelas sebanyak 149 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel berbasis purposive sampling dengan dua kelas X sebanyak 70 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket yang terdiri dari angket pengelolaan kelas dan angket aktivitas belajar siswa. Uji hipotesis penelitian menggunakan uji t, koefisisen determinasi dan uji korelasi dengan prasyarat data berdistribusi normal dan linear dengan bantuan program SPSS 25. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Kecenderungan skor pengelolaan kelas berada dalam kategori sedang dengan nilai persentase sebesar 50%, 2) Kecenderungan skor aktivitas belajar siswa berada dalam kategori sedang dengan nilai persentase sebesar 43%, 3) Hasil analisis korelasi antara variabel X dan Y menunjukkan bahwa diperoleh nilai t hitung 3.445 > t tabel 1,995 atau Sig. 0,001 < α 0,05 maka hipotesis 1 dalam penelitian ini diterima, yaitu terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan anatara pengelolaan kelas dengan aktivitas belajar siswa. Selanjutnya, diperoleh nilai koefisien korelasi atau r hitung sebesar 0,255 yang menunjukkan bahwa hubungan pengelolaan kelas dengan aktivitas belajar siswa masuk kategori rendah.

The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between classroom management and student learning activities in class X biology at SMA Negeri 1 Tinambung. The approach used in this study is quantitative. The method used in this study is a quantitative descriptive method, with a correlation approach. This study consists of two variables, namely classroom management as an independent variable (X) and student learning activity as a bound variable (Y). The population in this study is all class X students consisting of four classes of 149 students. The sampling technique was based on purposive sampling with two classes X as many
as 70 students. The instrument used is a questionnaire consisting of a classroom management questionnaire and a student learning activity questionnaire. The research hypothesis test uses the t-test, coefficient of determination and correlation test with the prerequisite of normal and linear data distribution with
the help of the SPSS 25 program. Based on the results of the study, it was shown that: 1) The tendency of the class management score was in the medium category with a percentage value of 50%, 2) The tendency of the student learning activity score was in the medium category with a percentage value of 43%, 3) The results of the correlation analysis between variables X and Y showed that a t-value of 3,445 was obtained > t table 1.995 or Sig. 0.001 < α 0.05, then hypothesis 1 in this study was accepted, namely there was a positive relationship and significant between classroom management and student learning activities. Furthermore, a
correlation coefficient or r calculation value of 0.255 was obtained, which showed that the relationship between classroom management and student learning activities was in the low category
