Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh buah buni (Antidesma bunius) dan buah soppeng (Syzygium cumini) pada ransum dengan level berbeda setiap perlakuan terhadap respon panjang dan bobot organ pencernaan ayam broiler. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental menggunakan Rancangan Acak
Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan 6 ulangan. Materi yang digunakan adalah ayam broiler (DOC) umur 14 hari, kandang model baterai ukuran 60×60×50 cm sebanyak 48 unit, pakan komersial, buah buni dan buah soppeng. Pakan perlakuan terdiri dari P0 = pakan komersial 100%, P1 = pakan komersial + buah buni 1%, P2 = pakan
komersial + buah soppeng 1 % P3 = pakankomersial + buah buni 0,5% + buah soppeng 0,5%. Hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan additive pada ransum berpengaruh signifikan (P<0,05) terhadap panjang organ pencernaan yaitu duodenum sebesar 31,93 cm, jejenum sebesar 71,38 cm dan ileum sebesar 76,16 cm pada perlakuan P3, sedangkan pada bobot cloaca 7,66 g pada perlakuan P3. Namun tidak berpengaruh signifikan (P>0,05) pada panjang organ oesophagus, crop, proventriculus, ventriculus, caecum, dan rectum, serta bobot organ oesophagus, crop, proventriculus, ventriculus, duodenum, jejenum, ileum, caecum, rectum dan
cloaca tidak berpengaruh signifikan (P>0,5). Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini yaitu
bahwa buah buni dan buah soppeng mampu meningkatkan panjang organ duodenum, jejenum, dan ileum serta mampu meningkatkan bobot organ cloaca.

The purpose of thisstudy wasto determine the effect of berry fruit (Antidesma bunius, L) and soppeng fruit (Syzygium cumini) on rations with different levels of each treatment on the response of length and weight of digestive organs of broiler chickens. This study used an experimental method using a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 6 replications. The materials used were 14-day-old broiler chickens (DOC), 48battery cages measuring 60 × 60 × 50 cm, commercial feed, berry fruit and soppeng fruit. The treatment feed consisted of P0 = 100% commercial feed, P1 = commercial feed + 1% berry fruit, P2 = commercial feed + 1% soppeng fruit P3 = commercial feed + 0.5% berry fruit + 0.5% soppeng fruit. The results of the analysis of variance showed that the use of additives in the ration had a significanteffect (P<0.05) on the length of the digestive organs, namely the duodenum of 31.93 cm, jejunum of 71.38 cm and ileum of 76.16 cm in the P3 treatment, while the weight of the cloaca was 7.66 g in the P3 treatment. However, it did not have asignificant effect (P>0.05) on the length of the oesophagus, crop, proventriculus,
ventriculus, caecum, and rectum organs, and the weight of the oesophagus, crop,
proventriculus, ventriculus, duodenum, jejunum, ileum, caecum, rectum and cloaca
organs did not have a significant effect (P>0.5). The conclusion of this study is that
berry fruit and soppeng fruit are able to increase the length of the duodenum,
jejunum, and ileum organs and are able to increase the weight of the cloaca.
