Komunikasi efektif SBAR merupakan kerangka komunikasi efektif untuk meningkatkan keselamatan pasien yang kedua yaitu komunikasi efektif. Pelaksanaan metode komunikasi efektif di RSUD Majene masuk dalam kategori baik. Dilakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan komunikasi efektif SBAR dengan penerapakan sasaran keselamatan pasien. Jenis penelitian kuantitatif dengan deskriftif analitik dan desain cross sectional. Sampel sebanyak 138 orang menggunakan tehnik total sampling. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan untuk variable komunikasi efektif SBAR yaitu kuesioner dan variable keselamatan pasien adalah kuesioner. Data komunikasi efektif SBAR dan
keselamatan pasien oleh perawat dilakukan dalam pengisian kuesioner. Kemudian data yang di dapatkan diolah kemudian di analisis secara univariate frekuensi dan bivariat uji chisquare. Didapatkan nilai p= 0,027 Hasil p <0,05 maka Ha diterima, sehingga ada hubungan
antara komunikasi efektif SBAR dengan penerapan sasaran keselamatan pasien. Disarankan kepada RSUD Majene terus meningkatkan penerapan komunikasi efektif SBAR saat melakukan handover.
