Abstract
Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui karakteristik fisik silase rumput odot dengan penambahan dedak padi yang berbeda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimental dengan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) 3 perlakuan dengan 4 kali ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri dari P1 = rumput odot + dedak padi (15%), kemudian P2 = rumput odot + dedak padi (20%) dan P3 = rumput odot + dedak padi (25%) yang masing-masing difermentasi selama 21 hari. Hasil penelitian dilakukan dengan pengujian organoleptik yaitu penilaian panelis untuk menetukan karakteristik fisik silase seperti warna, aroma, tekstur yang berjumlah 10 orang panelis terlatih dan 30 panelis non standar/tidak terlatih, sedangkan pengukuran pH menggunakan pH meter. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan sidik ragam ANOVA pada program SPSS versi 26. Semua variabel pengukuran pada hasil penelitian yang didapatkan tidak menunjukan pengaruh nyata (P>0,05). Pembuatan silase rumput odot dengan penambahan dedak padi yang berbeda belum mampu mempengaruhi kualitas fisik silase dari warna, aroma, tekstur dan kadar pH.
The purpose of this study was to determine the physical characteristics of odot grass silage with the addition of different rice bran. This study used an experimental method witha complete randomized design (RAL) 3 treatments with 4 repetitions. Treatment consisted of P1 = odot grass + rice bran (15%), then P2 = odot grass + rice bran (20%) and P3 = odot grass + rice bran (25%), each of which was fermented for 21 days. The results were conducted by organoleptic testing, namely the assessment of the panelists to determine the physical characteristics of silage such as color, aroma, texture amounting to 10 trained panelists and 30 non-standard/untrained panelists, while pH measurement using a pH meter. Analysis of the data used in the study using a variety of Anova prints on SPSS program version 26. All measurement variables in the results obtained did not show a real effect with the value of significance (P>0.05). Making odot grass
