Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Thinking Aloud Pair Problem Solving terhadap kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Majene. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimen bentuk non-equivalent control group design. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan purposive sampling dengan kelas VIII C sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas VIII F sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah dan lembar observasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan bantuan SPSS 25. Hasil analisis uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji independent sample t test diperoleh nilai signifikansi sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 yang berarti bahwa �଴ ditolak dan �ଵ diterima. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif thinking aloud pair problem solving lebih tinggi dibandingkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika yang diajar menggunakan model pembelajaran langsung.
The purpose of this study was to The influence of the cooperative learning model of the thinking aloud pair problem solving (TAPPS) type on the mathematical problem solving abilities of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Majene. This type of research is a quantitative study with a quasi-experimental design in the form of a non-equivalent control group design. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with class VIII C as the experimental class and class VIII F as the control class. The instruments used were problem-solving ability tests and observation sheets. Data analysis was carried out using SPSS 25. The results of the hypothesis test analysis using the independent sample t test obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. It can be concluded that the mathematical problem-solving abilities of students taught using the cooperatve learning model of the thinking aloud pair problem solving type are higher than the mathematical problem-solving abilities taught using the direct learning model
